Healing through You

September 15 | 1 Corinthians 12:9

“…to another gifts of healing by one Spirit,” (1 Corinthians 12:9)

I was born with cataracts in both eyes, legally blind all my life. In September 2013 I became a quadriplegic, paralyzed from the neck down. The gift of healings has a special place in my heart.

The Holy Spirit wants to minister healing through your hands. When you lay your hands on the sick, they will get well. Why do we think God doesn’t heal anymore? All throughout the Bible God healed all kinds of sicknesses. There were extraordinary healings. God does the impossible. Doctors say can’t be done but God heals through you. Jesus healed everyone who came to Him. The apostles could heal in amazing ways including their clothes healing people who touched them.

God still heals today. The gift of healing is just as active as the other gifts. Don’t put your experience before what the Bible says. Just because you don’t see healings when you pray doesn’t mean the Spirit won’t heal through you.

Like all the other gifts, this is a supernatural gift done by the Spirit. He can do astounding healings through you. Open yourself up to the possibility that the Spirit gave you this gift and the faith to use it.

Action Step: Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the gift of healings. Pray for the sick with the prayer of faith and believe God to do what you ask in Jesus’s name.

Holy Spirit, I ask for the gift of healings. I want You to minister through me. I want to see the amazing things You do by Your power. Heal my brothers and sisters in Christ. Show unbelievers that you are the Living God who still heals.
