October 31 | 1 John 4:4
“You are from God, little children, and have overcome him because greater is He in you than what is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)
You will face spiritually dark places, temptations, and spiritual battles as you walk with Jesus. You must be prepared for these battles, but Jesus has not left you powerless. The Bible gives you many weapons to fight. The greatest power to defeat these enemies of souls is a Person. Every believer is sealed with the Spirit at salivation. The Holy Spirit is powerful against these demonic and dark spirits.
Jesus set you free from anything that can harm you. You are not bound by any of these dark spiritual forces. Because the Holy Spirit dwells in you, you have all the power you need to fight these battles. You fight from a place of strength in Jesus. The Holy Spirit is more powerful than Satan, demons, evil spirits, and anything else you will face. Trust in His power and authority given to you.
No weapon formed against you will prosper. No demon can stand in the presence of the Spirit in you. You carry the light of Jesus’s gospel into this dark world. You don’t need to fear any evil. The Lord is with you.
Action Step: Stand firm against the evil spiritual forces of this world. You have victory in Christ through the Holy Spirit who dwells in you. Spread the light of Jesus’s gospel everywhere you go.
Jesus, thank You for the powerful weapons You have given me to fight spiritual battles. But more than that, thank You for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit. I walk in victory because of Your grace.
