Writing Well Again

Writing Well Again

I’m happy to say I have begun to have time to write regularly in my book Meditations on the Lord’s Supper. I have gotten about a chapter and a half written this week. It’s great to get back into my writing after having worked on other projects for a while.

I would like to get into another writing project on having relationship with the Holy Spirit, especially through the baptism in the Spirit and speaking in tongues. I know a lot of books have been written on it but I found I have an interesting approach compared to others when I lead a life group on it last year.

While I am writing on the Lord’s Supper, I am attempting to get my chapters that have already been started into the right order according to my table of contents. I have let this slide for quite a while and it’s becoming disorganized. I do not write well when I cannot find my files.

That is a goal for this coming week. It is such a freeing and feels like a weight being lifted from my shoulders when I can do what I love to do. I think this book will be a great book for ministers. By extension, any Christian will get some great devotional thoughts on the Lord’s Supper. I hope to do some new things with a beta reader group with this book. More on that to come. For now, I need to get back to writing.
