Trickles of Progress in Writing

Trickles of Progress in Writing

I have not given you an Author News update for a while because there hasn’t been much writing other than for the website. However, I have gotten at least one chapter done so far and am hoping to have a little more this week.

It’s the fourth quarter of the year and I had hoped to be a lot further than I am right now. But life happens and projects happen, and things happen. It has been a good near but my writing has not been what I hoped it would be by now.

To my advantage and benefit is that there is still time in this year to get as much writing down as I can. If I can get a couple of sessions ahead for my November life group completion in Ecclesiastes and James, I could devote some time to writing at the end of October and in November and December.

That’s the way I’m thinking, trying to be positive about these last few months.. Sometimes I just have to tell myself that the Lord has foreseen these things and it is for Him my right first and foremost. I just wanted to be more productive this year.

I haven’t published anything this year. I had planned to publish one or two things by the beginning of next year. So far, that has not worked out. But I know of some small projects I could work on to publish something in the beginning of 2025. We’ll just have to see how things go. That’s all for now. Enjoy your week!
