October 29 | 1 Corinthians 2:10-12

“these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.” (1 Corinthians 2:10–12, ESV)

Have you ever gotten lost and no one was around to help you find your way? I’m mostly speaking to women because men wouldn’t ask for directions even if someone was there to ask. We need to be able to navigate our way not only in our travels but in life.

When you face spiritual battles you must have God’s knowledge and wisdom. Otherwise you will find yourself in a bind. God can give you amazing victories in the Spirit but you must walk with the Spirit. When you don’t know what to do the Spirit does.

He searches both God’s heart and your heart. He shows you what God wants and how to accomplish it for His glory. God wants to reveal things in the Spirit to you. He wants to guide you into His blessings.

Action Step: Listen to the Spirit. Let Him show you God’s goodness. He will prepare you for spiritual battles. And he will show you the blessings God has for you.

Holy Spirit, show me Your glory. How do I handle every situation I face today? Reveal Your thoughts and ways to me. Show me the right way to go and give me courage and strength to walk in it. When I face spiritual battles, give me the wisdom and discernment to see them and see Your victory. Victory
