November 3 | Psalm 37:3-6

“Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.” (Psalm 37:3–6, ESV)

Everyone thinks they have the best solution for every problem. Some solutions work and others don’t. I called technical support for my computer once. I chuckled as the first five suggestions on the list were things I already tried.

The Lord waits for you to ask Him for His solution to your problem. When you walk in His ways you see victory out of your darkness. He shines His light on your problem and the solution is clear as day.

Why do we try to solve our problems our way? After the Lord has come through for you so many times you still look for your own solutions. It’s only when you turn to the Lord and delight yourself in Him that He gives you the desire of your heart, the answer to your problem, and rest in Him.

When you online the desires of your heart with His will you see those desires in your life. The Lord will act on your behalf. He will lift you up. He will keep you on His path. When you trust in the Lord He answers your prayers.

Action Step: Bring your problem to the Lord today. Seek Him and walk in His ways. You will be surprised how easily He directs you to godly success.

Lord Jesus, I trust in You for everything in my life. I surrender it into Your hands. I want Your will to be done in my life. I commit my way and it decisions to You. Lead me into Your goodness and grace.
