November 26 | Hebrews 4:16
“Therefore, let us approach with confidence the throne of grace so that we may receive mercy and grace and find help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
We’ve developed the idea of being fashionably late so we don’t have to admit we’re just late. The key to being fashionably late is to make an entrance. If you’re going to be fashionably late, you must let everyone know when you arrive. And let’s face it. You have to be the life of the party to pull it off.
As God’s children, we don’t have to worry about this. We can approach God’s throne anytime. He’s always ready to hear from us. We can have confidence in Him giving us a whole lot of grace.
The Father gives us mercy and grace exactly when we need it. He is not early. He is not late. He’s always right on time. You can trust the Father will come to your rescue just in time. We may get nervous with His timing, but He knows what He’s doing.
We must learn to trust God. He knew when to bring Jesus into the world. And He knows what you need when you need it. God never fails. Even when we think He’s late, He sees the bigger picture. God does incredible things with time.
Action Step: Trust the Lord’s timing. He is faithful. He won’t let you down. Don’t get nervous or worried.
Jesus, I know You’re never late. You know the end from the beginning. Teach me not to fret over the little things, or not wonder if You will come through. I know You will do extraordinary things with timing in my life. Teach me to wait on You.
