March 21 | 2 Corinthians 11:26-28

“… on many journeys, in danger from rivers, in danger from robbers, in danger from my people, in danger from Gentiles, in danger in the city, in danger in the wilderness, in danger on the sea, in danger from false brothers, in labor and hard times, through many sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, many times without food, in cold and nakedness, and beside external struggles, there is daily pressure on me of anxiety for all the churches.” (2 Corinthians 11:26–28)
No matter how much you suffer, see what Paul suffered. Serving God comes with struggles, trials, suffering, and pain. If the preacher told you life would be smooth sailing, health and wealth, He lied to you.
The best part about being a Christian is that Jesus is with you. He helps you through trials. You can lean on Him when you face danger. David said that even in the valley of the shadow of death He had no fear because God was with Him.
Jesus is with you in the storm, danger, strife, and want. He makes life rich and sweet. All your cares, fears, anxieties, and woes, Jesus feels them with you. Look at how Jesus suffered on the Cross. He knows. He cares. He walks with you. Let His arms wrap around you during the storms of life.
Action Step: Lean on Jesus in the middle of your trials, anxieties, toils, and pain. He is there for you. His friendship is sweeter than your bitter anxieties. Taste and see that the Lord is good to you.
Oh Jesus, the storms of life swirl around me. I need You now more than ever! Be with me and guide me through this storm. I want to feel Your presence and know Your comfort and peace. You never let me down.
