“Rather, in all these things, we prevail completely through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor rulers, neither things present nor things to come, nor powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:37–39)

Romantics say love is the most powerful thing in the universe. Our minds argue there are materials much stronger than emotions. Love doesn’t only have to be an emotion. The Bible describes love as an action.

Love is the reason Jesus went to the Cross for you. He loves you so much that He made you a conqueror. You can conquer all trials, adversity, and challenges that come against you. Paul gives ten challenges in our lives that Christ’s love binds you to Him.

He couples most of these challenges together as opposites. Death and life, angels and rulers, things present and things to come, perhaps putting all of these under “powers,” height and depth. And if all those don’t cover everything we face, He says anything else in all creation.

Nothing can separate you from Jesus’s love. His love glues you to Him during your life challenges. When you face trials and challenges, run to Jesus. He walks with you through everything you face.

Action Step: Thank Jesus for His love that protects and keeps you through every challenge. See yourself as a conqueror over every storm in life. Make that your mindset for everything you face today. You can conquer anything because Jesus walks with you.

Jesus, thank You for Your presence today. If I face any adversity today, I know You are with me and guiding me. Help me to see You as my Guide instead of worrying about the results of this trial.
